Musician James Blunt has revealed that Celebrity Traitors viewers missed the intense reality of how comedian James Acaster was exposed as a traitor during the BBC reality series. Speaking about the penultimate roundtable, Blunt explained that Acaster did not simply fall on his sword, but was instead pinned down and caught in a lie regarding a perfume bottle used in a plain sight murder. Blunt noted that contestants are ultimately victims of the show's editing and that the interrogation was far heavier than what was broadcast on screen. Additionally, Blunt confessed that he originally signed up for the show to promote his new music rather than to win, noting that the fixed pay structure made him want to exit early, though nobody would banish him until the finale. The series was ultimately won by Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft. Fuente: The Standard (Reino Unido)
