Former MasterChef UK presenter Gregg Wallace has announced he is reigniting legal action against the BBC following his departure from the popular cooking show. The 62-year-old chef, who co-hosted the programme from 2005 until 2024, was dismissed after an independent review upheld multiple misconduct allegations against him spanning over a decade. Wallace previously launched a data-related High Court claim against the broadcaster and BBC Studios, which was later discontinued without any payouts. Now, following further exchanges on social media, he has stated that he considers himself the injured party in a witch hunt and confirmed that a court date has been scheduled for spring next year. Meanwhile, former co-host John Torode was also dismissed following separate allegations, with MasterChef currently hosted by Grace Dent and Anna Haugh. Representatives for the BBC and the show have been contacted for comment. Fuente: The Standard #GreggWallace #MasterChef #BBC #LegalAction #Television
