A Place in the Sun presenter Ben Hillman has embarked on a challenging new property project after purchasing a neglected micro-home at auction in Shoreham. Upon collecting the keys, the television host joked that he instantly regretted the purchase, citing asbestos in the ceiling, pipes running along the walls, and problematic structural elements. Away from helping house-hunters find properties abroad on Channel 4, Hillman balances his career with family life alongside his wife Gaby and their two daughters, who frequently assist him with DIY home improvements. His personal life has also seen hurdles, including a severe water slide accident in France that required hospital treatment for an open fracture and dislocation. Fuente: WalesOnline
