Alton Towers has announced the permanent closure of the World of David Walliams attraction following its annual planning and operational review. The themed area, which originally opened in 2021 in collaboration with HarperCollins and the author, featured several family rides including Gangsta Granny: The Ride, Raj's Bouncy Bottom Burp, and the Royal Carousel. The theme park has not yet revealed what plans are in place for the space moving forward, advising visitors to check their official website and mobile app for upcoming developments and opening information.
