A high-speed police pursuit in Wrexham culminated in a dramatic crash when a fleeing Seat Leon smashed straight through the front window of a residential property in Chirk Bank, ending up upside down inside the house. The incident began after the vehicle failed to stop for officers, leading to a short pursuit that culminated at Canal View. The car ploughed through a metal barrier at a road closure on a bridge undergoing repairs before careering down a bank and into the living room of the former village post office. Local residents described the terrifying aftermath as resembling a "warzone" and sounding like an "explosion". Fortunately, the occupants inside the home sustained no injuries. Emergency services, including an ambulance, attended the scene and the male driver was arrested before being transferred to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital to receive treatment for potentially serious injuries. Police inquiries into the collision remain ongoing. Fuente: WalesOnline #Wrexham #PoliceChase #ChirkBank #WalesNews #Accident
